Garowe (HOL) - A delegation of key leaders and politicians has arrived in Garowe, Puntland's capital, for President Deni's inauguration following his recent re-election earlier this month.
Abdiaziz Lafta Gareen, president of the South West administration, is also expected in Garowe shortly.
The President of Hirshabelle, Ali Guud Lawe, Galmudug's Vice President, and a Jubbaland delegation are already in the city.
Wednesday's arrivals in Garowe include former Prime Ministers Hassan Ali Kheyre, Mohamed Hussein Roble, and Abdiweli Ali Gas, among other notable politicians.
Ex-Prime Ministers Ali Mohamed Geeddi and Abdifarah Farah Shirdon were in Garowe earlier.
Abdiqadir Ahmed Ali Firdhiye, SSC - Khatumo's leader, is among the delegates who arrived in Garowe.
Whether Somalia's President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud will attend President Deni's inauguration remains unclear amid reports of a rift between the two.
President Deni's inauguration is scheduled for tomorrow.
